Nauteka recommends decks to be rinsed only with sea water. The use of oil is not recommended for teak. The teak used by Nauteka comes solely from Burma. This is the best wood in the world for use in sailboats. |
| Teak cannot be compared with other synthetic products, either in appearance or functionality. Synthetic products may burn the feet at high temperatures. |
