The manufacturing process begins by shaping the area to be covered with teak.  This may be done traditionally, by using fitting boards or a similar material.  Nauteka uses digital equipment for shaping and sizing.  This information is treated using CAD software and then transferred to a numerical control machine which designs the mould used to manufacture the parts.

The whole manufacturing process is carried out on the premises and after strengthening the seals, laminating the inner surface and transporting the boards, the deck is ready for installation and it is not necessary to dry dock the boat. This process allows the customer to have a teak deck made quickly, and with top quality and precision. And without the inconvenience of dirt from working on board or any damage that could be caused.

Nauteka provides an expert service wherever the boat is located.  The installation process simply consists in applying the boards to the deck, and sealing the edges of the teak deck to the boat.
